Call Out

Be part of something BIG!

Writing WA is excited to announce its biennial science writing festival, Quantum Words Perth, will be taking place 16-18 September, 2022.

This unique festival for all age groups is produced by Writing WA in association with Writing NSW. It is curated by Quantum Words founder and director Jane McCredie who is once again looking to program a dynamic mix of established and new voices that reflect the diversity of the field.

Submissions are welcome from writers in any genre, science writers, scientists who write, publishers, writers and artists whose work intersects with science, or anyone else with a passion for writing about science. We invite proposals for roles such as panel speakers, chairs and workshop leaders — and other ideas are also encouraged!

Submissions must include details of your publication experience, any upcoming releases around the time of the festival and suggested panel topics or specific areas of expertise.

Submissions close Friday 6 May.

This form is currently closed for submissions.
